Your post was a beautiful reminder to us all of what true beauty is all about. I remember your struggles in elementary school! I never defined you by what was going on with your hair. Your sweet spirit, talent playing the piano, and the way you befriended my little Ben forever endeared me to you.
"Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised." Proverbs 31:30
Your children cannot help but see that inner beauty that you possess. What a testimony of God's love and provision that you would share such a private struggle with others. You never know who may be touched by your words and brought to a closer walk with our Savior because of your post. You have certainly blessed me!
Dear Lord, Next time I feel like griping about a "bad hair day," help me to focus on the most important part of beauty--the part You see--the inner me. Am I reflecting You, Christ, the way I should be?
